Sambonet - Royal - Set of 6 PVD Gold Dessert Forks

PVD—an acronym for Physical Vapor Deposition—gives objects exquisite colors and hues, and is achieved by vaporizing metal particles in a vacuum chamber. The coating bonds at the atomic level to the stainless steel substrate, making the material harder and more resistant to both frictional wear and corrosion, inhibiting the formation of rust or oxides. Thanks to the use of non-toxic materials such as titanium and zirconium, PVD is also used in the biomedical field as scalpels or surgical blades.

The monoblock knife is made from a single piece of steel. Unlike the hollow-handled knife, which is composed of two parts, there are no visible breaks between the handle and the blade, and holding these types of knives gives a pleasant sensation of heaviness and solidity.

Elegant and full of charm. Thanks to the double raised edge and the original Sambonet hallmark on the knife handles, the Royal collection expresses the best of the brand's manufacturing excellence and enhances its heritage.
