Hermès - Cheval d'Orient - Cup 500 cl

The Cheval d'Orient collection pays homage to Hermès's equestrian roots and, drawing inspiration from 15th- and 16th-century Persian miniatures, evokes the caravans of the Silk Road and the conviviality of the Orient. It is the result of extraordinary technical prowess: the use of 29 colors on each of the different decorations adorning the 55 items designed for lunch, dinner, tea/coffee, and decorative objects. Cheval d'Orient revisits the shapes and sizes of the great classics of the Western table, such as the pedestal cup or the tureen with elegant open handles.
