Lalique - Languedoc Vase

The Languedoc vase transports us to the lands of Languedoc. Between the sea and the mountains, this sun-kissed region in the south of France offers a variety of landscapes: wide open spaces, scrubland, ancient massifs, and splendid gorges. The wild beauty of this land has inspired many artists, including René Lalique, who designed this vase with its pronounced relief and generous proportions in 1929.

Crafted from satin-finished and re-polished crystal, cactus leaves overlap in a graphic play of repetition.
