LLADRÓ - Superman sculpture - limited series

We've reinterpreted the quintessential superhero with a porcelain creation that captures the character's essence: strength, integrity, and determination to make the world a better place. Inspired by the classic Superman from the original 1939 comics by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, we present him here in his most recognizable pose and wearing his iconic costume.

To recreate Superman's costume, we specifically developed a unique blue and metallic red. This combination is accentuated by the application of gold luster in a matte and satin finish on the shield and belt. Superman stands on the mineral surface of Krypton, his home planet, the source of his strength and, paradoxically, his weakness: kryptonite. Every detail has been meticulously crafted, from the character's anatomy and gestures to the textures of the ground he stands on.

Clark Kent, the name he adopts when he arrives on Earth, combines his life as a reporter for the Daily Planet with a quiet mission: to protect the world with his kindness and his superpowers.

Modeled by sculptor Eva Cuerva and made entirely by hand, this limited edition is part of our collection dedicated to great contemporary icons.
